Throughout our experience there is no "average house".
The cost of the job depends on
- How much furniture and effects you have (cubic metres)
- Distance needed to be travelled (travelling from one town/suburb to another)
- If there is any additional difficulties such as multi-storey houses, difficult access issues, or heavy-lift items.
Backloads can only be scheduled when we have a truck with enough space available in that location at that time. (This may require some flexiblity on the timing of your removal)
Heavy-lift items are things such as Pianos or Pool Tables (Slate-Top). There's an additional charge due to the difficulty and increase risk moving such items.
Typically High-Set houses have a second level connected by a flight of stairs. Naturally, this adds aditional difficulty and risk to the job.
